Directions From Auckland:

Take the Southern Motorway (State Highway 1 toward Hamilton) to the LEFT exit onto SH2 at the bottom of "Bombay Hill"

Turn LEFT at exit 477 onto SH25 toward Thames and the Coromandel Peninsula

After crossing the bridge at Kopu, turn RIGHT onto SH26 toward Paeroa

Turn LEFT after 1km onto SH25a and continue on SH25a as you near Hikuai, then drive through Tairua town.

After approx 20 minutes, at Whenuakite, turn RIGHT toward Hot Water Beach (~1 km after the school; it's well marked) and follow the signs toward Hot Water Beach (always bear right if in doubt)

Turn RIGHT shortly after crossing the stream (two hundred metres before the Hot Water Beach shop) onto Radar Road

And look for Auntie Dawns Place on the LEFT

Cathedral Cove at Hahei is an 8 minute drive away.
